The Hair is Cut

I've been growing my hair for more then a year without cutting it at all. I finally broke down and buzzed the head. I live and work in New York City and I felt like an outcast with the long hair. Maybe if I lived somewhere downtown and was only working on my own projects it would have been different. The fact is I spend a lot of my time digital marketing for companies in NYC and I feel like the hair may have been holding me back a little. We will soon find out. 

I've made a lot of videos that I have posted online talking about the ins and outs of corporate advertising and marketing. They are mostly with the long hair. Now I'm going to record a ton of new ones which is good anyway because the city is awesome in the winter. I'm really trying to promote myself big time with YouTube and other online sites that allow you to post videos and pics. 

In addition to working for companies I have my eye on creating a few blogs which I've started and taking it to the next level. It's a little deeper then that but for now we'll call them blogs.

Outside Of My First City Experts

In the below video I'm outside of my first City Experts event. City Experts is a community of people who leave local reviews on Google for companies and establishments they frequent. The event was located in Midtown West, NYC and it was awesome. The people who worked for Google were really friendly and it was cool to interact with them. The City Experts were awesome too and it was good to meet a bunch of new people.

They served tons of free food and there was a awesome DJ playing some nice tunes. The City Experts program is a lot of fun and I'm glad to be a part of it. Being involved with anything Google such as this gives me a lot of inspiration being that I am a digital marketing professional in NYC and helping people with their Google accounts is a big part of what I do.

I don't work for Google, I'm just part of their City Expert program which I think anyone can join if they follow the rules of entry. Not 100% sure, maybe I was just lucky. If you want more information on the program you can Google City Experts.

Long story short, it's really nice for Google to give back like this and I appreciate being a part of it.

NYC Forever Digital Improvement Mark Pine

In this video I'm speaking about how a portion of entrepreneurs don't fully know what's going on inside their own digital foundation. Meaning their website, mobile site, social media profiles and other digital resources. Not saying I'm reinventing the wheel here or that you can't do it yourself, because you can. I often will spend a few minutes with clients looking at all the pages they have on the web from a desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phone. When we view everything together, often clients will be amazed at what is missing and some of the mistakes we find.

In short, stop and smell the roses every once in a while and look at every single page you have on the web and social media.

The Process of Working with Me

I am a digital marketing professional located in New York City. I help companies improve what they have going on with the web, mobile and social media. If it's organic traffic they want or to pick up more targeted traffic.

In this video I'm talking about the current process of working with me. I believe in the future it will change a bit, but it's how it works now. For example, now there is a win you over process that in the near future I don't think I will have to do as much as my referral network builds up.

Right now I meet with someone new and the first step is to win them over. Then we begin. Once we start I do everything in my power to bring the max amount of value to the table. I don't play games with people businesses and I don't expect people to play games with my projects either. If they do, they are gone in one minute.

The way I win customers over is by showing them a bunch of digital resources and strategies available to them with the hope that they are interested and see the value I see. In the future I'm hoping people will just hire me because of my reputation and referrals.

I help companies improve what they have on the web, mobile and social media. The process of working with me is, once I get the check I do everything in my power to deliver the max amount of value. I do not hold back. If it's a one time consultation, analysis and upgrade or a monthly thing doesn't matter. In either situation I go above and beyond to offer the maximum amount of value in every situation.

One advantage of working with me is if I'm awake I'm available. I make myself available to clients 24 hours and day, 7 days a week. I understand people are busy plus clients are making a sacrifice of time and resources to work with me. I do everything in my power to make them feel like the experience was 100% worth it.

After having the idea to record my thoughts with the intention of informing, educating and explaining some of the essential digital resources and strategies effecting small and medium businesses, I'm now about 500 videos in. This is another of the videos from the first batch of 500. The next 500 will continue to expand on the topics of web, mobile, social media, sites and mobile apps that may be used by companies to share there message.

A few of the ideas I share are as follows. The better your digital foundation, the better opportunity you give your brand to grow it's organic following. There are several ways to tap into more targeted traffic if you so choose. One way is online advertising, when done efficiently, may be a valuable source of exposure for your product, service or establishment. Social media may help too, regardless if you update it a lot or not. I also explore mobile app opportunities and content creation strategies.

Super luxury user experience and digital marketing with Mark Pine. The less you think you may need it the more it may benefit you. There are so many layers to a digital foundation these days. A lot of it is one time creation. Once it's properly set it can grow. You can go in as deep as you want or as low upkeep as you want, but at least get the initial foundation created properly. Your already doing the work, why not share you business with more targeted people?

First of all most don't know user experience, digital marketing, web, mobile and social media like me. Next, this is my waiter job. Not saying I won't market in one form or another forever, because I probably will. What I mean is that I'm working on creating a blog empire that will take my career and visibility to the next level.
I have worked for every type of hot and trendy company and individual there is and have delivered the goods every time. My strategy is to deliver the best value the fastest so I can get my breaks out of life. I want to be rich, filthy rich. The more people I make happy, the more people will make me happy is the blueprint and the faster I will get to the next level.

I know its nearly impossible for people to know who is for real and who is not when it comes to web, mobile and social media. What I say to that is call me up, I'll analyze what you got and give you more information useful tips for free then most people who do what I do would give you after you pay them. If we move forward great, if not that is OK too. Let's just give it a shot.

Like I said I'm trying to become rich. Not squeeze a couple hundred or few grand out of peoples pockets every month for the next 100 years. I want to so far exceed your expectations and make such a positive impact on your business that you never forget me for the rest of your life. Let's get it.
