Outside Of My First City Experts

In the below video I'm outside of my first City Experts event. City Experts is a community of people who leave local reviews on Google for companies and establishments they frequent. The event was located in Midtown West, NYC and it was awesome. The people who worked for Google were really friendly and it was cool to interact with them. The City Experts were awesome too and it was good to meet a bunch of new people.

They served tons of free food and there was a awesome DJ playing some nice tunes. The City Experts program is a lot of fun and I'm glad to be a part of it. Being involved with anything Google such as this gives me a lot of inspiration being that I am a digital marketing professional in NYC and helping people with their Google accounts is a big part of what I do.

I don't work for Google, I'm just part of their City Expert program which I think anyone can join if they follow the rules of entry. Not 100% sure, maybe I was just lucky. If you want more information on the program you can Google City Experts.

Long story short, it's really nice for Google to give back like this and I appreciate being a part of it.

In this video I'm speaking about how a portion of entrepreneurs don't fully know what's going on inside their own digital foundation. Meaning their website, mobile site, social media profiles and other digital resources. Not saying I'm reinventing the wheel here or that you can't do it yourself, because you can. I often will spend a few minutes with clients looking at all the pages they have on the web from a desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phone. When we view everything together, often clients will be amazed at what is missing and some of the mistakes we find.

In short, stop and smell the roses every once in a while and look at every single page you have on the web and social media.
